We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Edinburgh! The room was spotlessly clean and cozy, perfect for our backpacking adventure. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the city center. The staff were friendly and courteous, making us feel right at home. The breakfast each morning was delicious and set us up for the day ahead. a brilliant experience!
Felt right at home, couldn't find a single thing to complain about.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, especially the ladies at reception. They made me feel safe and cared for as a lone female traveler. The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the downtown area and easy to get to the city centre. It was also conveniently located close to all the main attractions in the centre of this city. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a no mobile phone policy in the front lounge that encouraged conversation. The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious considering it was on a lower level. The power shower in the bathroom was superb and refreshing after a long day of exploring.
It was all superb.

One of the positive aspects of this hotel is its value for money. The prices are reasonable and include a delicious cooked or continental breakfast. The attention to detail in the rooms, such as the luxurious decor and spaciousness, is impressive. The location is ideal, situated on a quiet terrace overlooking a private park, yet still within walking distance to the main city center.
All was great, no improvements needed.

Stayed at a historic hotel during Christmas. Loved the charming decor and the cozy feel of the room, especially the four poster bed. Bathroom was in good condition. Great location near key attractions, with easy access to the city center. Breakfast was outstandingly good, a delicious start to the day.
Room furniture had some minor issues like chipped and incorrectly assembled pieces. Noticed a lack of sound insulation with the adjacent bathroom.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main attractions. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely en-suite bathroom and a walk-in shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome during my stay. Although the cooked breakfast wasn't the best, the continental options were adequate. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.

The location of the hotel was ideal, situated on the edge of town and away from the bustling nightlife at the weekend. It was a short walk to all the sights in the city, making it convenient for exploring. The room was comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a lovely view of the park. The staff provided excellent service, making us feel welcome and taking care of any requests. The breakfast offered a variety of freshly cooked hot food, and the restaurant had a great selection of dishes with good service and ambience. The prices for food and drinks were reasonable, adding to the overall positive experience.
The dress code in the restaurant was not enforced, and some patrons were seen wearing casual attire, which did not create the desired ambience.
